The Mayfair WestCoast Edition is taking our elegant Mayfair and transforms it into a more durable, California inspired sports watch. A grainy California dial with the characteristic mix of lume-filled Roman and Arabic numerals is combined with a set of dark grey plated, polished hands (lume-filled) in a matte black Mayfair case. As expected of a sports watch, the case has a screw down crown and case back, ensuring water resistance for up to 10 ATM of pressure.
The WC Edition is available in a range of beach inspired colours, visible through the AR coated and scratch resistant sapphire crystal.
Powered by a reliable and precise NH-38 automatic watch movement, the balance and gear train are visible through the exhibition case back. The kit is completed by a thick, oil waxed Italian leather strap or a water resistant, embossed FKM strap.

- No tools kits include only the watch components and the instructions (we recommended to start with a full DIY kit to ensure you have all the right tools for your first assembly)

Your watch components
The California Dial
Originally developed as error-proof design in the 1930 and 40s, the combination of roman and arabic numerals became popular in the 70 and 80s in California as the dial was used for vintage restorations.
Form and Function
A uniquely shaped case entirely finished in matte black and ready for harsh environments with a scratch resistant, AR coated sapphire crystal and screw-down crown and case back to ensure water resistance.
NH-38A movement
This 3 hand automatic watch movement is manufactured by TMI, a subsidiary of Seiko, and includes 24 jewel bearings, a power reserve of 41 hours, and a sweeping seconds hand.
FKM or LEATHER
Choose between a soft Italian leather strap or a waterproof, embossed FKM strap. Both are in 20mm lug size and equipped with quick release spring bars for an easy and quick change.

Our watchmaking starter kits
Designed for you, our kits contain everything you need to build one of our watches at home including the full set of components above, a complete watchmaking tool kit and detailed step by step instructions (included as print version and with access to our online videos).
Shipping
Our kits are shipped from our London workshop with Royal Mail. We aim to send all orders within 1-2 business days. However, in exceptional circumstances it might take slightly longer to get your kit on the way.
There are no fees, taxes or other costs when buying from the UK.
International orders are shipped via UPS or a similar courier within 2-3 business days.
If you purchase from outside the UK or ship to an address outside the UK, you order will not include UK taxes.
Please note that customers will remain liable for local taxes and/or import duty for deliveries outside the UK. Import payments and process are handled by the courier company and we have no influence over this process. Incurred costs on your behalf are not refundable.
