The Mayfair collection is a series of modern, colour bursting and inspiring watches. The uniquely shaped cases are finished with exceptional attention to detail, comprising brushed surfaces and meticulously polished edges. The vibrant dials are finished with a sun-ray brushing, reflecting every ray of light, and a set of silver polished hands to match the cases.
For this open heart model, we took a cutter to the dial to reveal the beating heart of your movement. With its oval cut-out the spinning balance wheel is fully visible, in addition to the escapement lever and escape wheel as well as part of the gear train connected to your hands.
The Mayfair case is leaning towards a dress watch with its polished pillow shaped form, but retains key features of a toolwatch such as a scratch resistant sapphire crystal and a screw-down crown and case back to ensure water resistance. The Mayfair is powered by the NH-38A automatic watch movement with 41 hours power reserve, 24 jewel bearings and sweeping second hand.

Our kits are available as Full watchmaking kits or as No tools variants:
- Full watchmaking starter kit includes watch components (case, dial, hands, movement, and strap), a full tool kit (watch hand levers and press, movement cushion, friction ball, cleanroom products, dust blower, Rodico, precision tweezers, table mat, screwdriver (pilot watches only), watchmaker’s loupe and headwire) and detailed instructions (printed booklet in each kit and access to our step-by-step video guides via our homepage)
- No tools kits include only the watch components and the instructions (we recommended to start with a full DIY kit to ensure you have all the right tools for your first assembly)

Highlight of the Mayfair Open Heart is our new Sunray brushed 28.5mm fume dial with a cut-out revealing balance wheel, escapement and hand gears completed by applied, silver polished indices (lume filled).
Exceptional Finishing
The 38mm stainless steel case (bezel measurement, 42mm incl. cushions) is finished with polished and brushed surfaces and is equipped with a sapphire crystal, see-through case back, and screw down crown.
NH-38JB Movement
This automatic watch movement is manufactured in Japan by TMI, a subsidiary of Seiko, and includes 24 jewel bearings, a power reserve of 41 hours, sweeping seconds hand and a skeletonized balance wheel.
FKM or Leather
The Mayfair is available with a fully water resistant, durable FKM strap or a soft Italian Leather strap with crocodile imprint (20mm width, both with quick release spring bars)

Shipping Policy
Our kits are shipped from our London workshop with Royal Mail and we aim to send them within 1-2 business days.
International orders are shipped via UPS or a similar courier. Orders are shipped excl. tax - please note that customers will remain liable for local taxes and/or import duty for deliveries outside the UK. Import payments and process are handled by the courier and we have no influence over this process. Incurred costs on your behalf are not refundable.
