The Forma Mil Spec is a precise, high contrast watch design based on a uniquely shaped, black case design with brushed and polished finishing. Underneath a scratch resistant sapphire crystal a symmetrical, matte dial is accompanied by a set of polished black lance hands (lume filled) ensuring excellent legibility. To ensure water resistance, the case is equipped with a screw-down crown and case back featuring an exhibition window to ensure full visibility of the NH-38A movement. The kit is completed by a fully water resistant, embossed FKM or soft Italian leather strap.

- Full watchmaking starter kit includes watch components (case, dial, hands, movement, and strap), a full tool kit (watch hand levers and press, movement cushion, friction ball, cleanroom products, dust blower, Rodico, precision tweezers, table mat, screwdriver (pilot watches only), watchmaker’s loupe and headwire) and detailed instructions (printed booklet in each kit and access to our step-by-step video guides via our homepage)
- No tools kits include only the watch components and the instructions (we recommended to start with a full DIY kit to ensure you have all the right tools for your first assembly)
Safety notice: Please note that these kits are not toys and are unsuitable for children of any age. They contain small parts which can be swallowed as well as sharp tools. Please always handle the tools (especially tweezers) with utmost care and caution. Keep the ends away from your eyes, skin or any other person or animal.
Your watch components
MilSpec Dial
A high contrast 28.5mm dial with thick printed hour markers (black lume) and precision second track. Completed by a set of polished black lance hands (lume filled), to ensure exceptional legibility.
Uniquely shaped
A case finished in brushed and polished black, ready for everyday use with a scratch resistant, AR coated sapphire crystal and screw-down crown and case back to ensure water resistance (up to 10ATM).
NH-38A movement
This 3 hand automatic watch movement is manufactured by TMI, a subsidiary of Seiko, and includes 24 jewel bearings, a power reserve of 41 hours, and a sweeping seconds hand.
FKM or LEATHER
Choose between a soft Italian leather strap (also available in extra-long) or a waterproof, embossed FKM strap. All are in 20mm lug size and equipped with quick release spring bars for an easy and quick change.

Designed for you, our kits contain everything you need to build one of our watches at home including the full set of components above, a complete watchmaking tool kit and detailed step by step instructions (included as print version and with access to our online videos).
Shipping
Our kits are shipped from our London workshop with Royal Mail. We aim to send all orders within 1-2 business days. However, in exceptional circumstances it might take slightly longer to get your kit on the way.
There are no fees, taxes or other costs when buying from the UK.
International orders are shipped via UPS or a similar courier within 2-3 business days.
If you purchase from outside the UK or ship to an address outside the UK, you order will not include UK taxes.
Please note that customers will remain liable for local taxes and/or import duty for deliveries outside the UK. Import payments and process are handled by the courier company and we have no influence over this process. Incurred costs on your behalf are not refundable.
